We are a friendly backpackers hostel offering a home away from home to guests from New Zealand and around the world. We have had some wonderful birthday celebrations and pizza nights. Join in on our yoga night every Tuesday.

All enquiries are welcome to our office by email or telephone. Our office hours are 8.30am - 8.30pm every day. Your call or email is important to us and we will reply to all enquiries as soon as possible.To confirm a reservation:
It is necessary to confirm a reservation by supplying our office with your name and valid Visa or Mastercard details. We will also ask for your phone number and expected time of arrival. For your convenience we also take Eftpos.Group Bookings:
We welcome group bookings for your family or friends and offer a special discount rate for groups of 10 or more people when booked directly with us and 4 or more sharing a room – ask about us organising a pizza night for the group.Tour Desk:
We can help you with your bookings so you can visit Cape Reinga, hire a car, or explore further abroad. We take Eftpos and Visa/Mastercard.
Fully Equipped Kitchen
Our fully equipped kitchen is in the heart of the Lodge and separates the standard rooms from the studio and ensuite rooms. We also have a guest laundry with washing machine, dryer.

Bikes for Hire
The area around Kaitaia is great to explore by bike; explore the town, ride to a vineyard or to Ahipara beach for a surf or quad bike ride. Charges are really only to cover service or wear and tear.
They are just 1/2 day hire $5, all day $10.
